Kindergarten, Trees, & Dinosaurs

Michael planted some trees this week! Peach and Cherry. Westin did a little dance when he came home and saw them by our garage. That boy loves fruit. Michael also got a pass for us through the library to go check out the dinosaur fossils and footprints just south of us. The boys thought it was really fun to see.

We can't believe we have a Kindergarten graduate over here! Westin had a fun last week of school. He loved his class and school so much this year. He's not sure about moving up to First Grade but he's glad his friends are going with him :)

Bennett didn't love taking Westin to school this week and not going himself, so he's happy Westin is done too! But he did have fun with Camden. He's an easygoing sweetie.

Westin made his own copy of "Savior", cutie boy

Watching garbage trucks

We loved this sweet sign all year that our neighbors always add new jokes to.

Neighborhood Summer Party!

Tired, sweet boy.

So happy we found this stuff here!

Last Day of Preschool, Dairy Tour, & Date Night

Bennett finished school this week. He told me he didn't have a popsicle on the last day "because my belly was full and I wanted to play on the playground instead!" He's picking up on listening to his body more lately and it's great. We took the boys on a dairy tour on Saturday of Morning Fresh Farm, where Noosa yogurt is made. It was so fun to see and the boys loved the yogurt and milk samples. They had all the same kinds of milks in the same exact bottles as the dairy we used to go to in Hanford... felt like one of our most missed pieces of Fresno found its way here! We'll be finding out where that chocolate milk is sold ASAP :)

Michael and I went on our first date night in almost 3 months on Saturday and it was so fun to go to dinner together. We went to a cute restaurant to eat outside but it ended up being super rainy super fast, so it was still a fun date inside. And now we'll just have to go back to eat on the cute patio :)

We made a fun, big summer calendar this weekend so Westin could kind of visualize when we're going places or having visitors, and I think it will help him look forward to things more and understand what's happening when. We cut up our first watermelon today, so, summer is here! Westin has 2.5 more days of school. Woohoo!

Garbage Day is their Best Day

Westin had Monday off of school for a teacher work day and all day long he said, "What should we do for homeschool now?" It's going to be a long summer full of entertainment haha

Our electrical work was done a while ago but our ceiling fans just barely got here, so they came back to install them. Camden clings to me like a monkey the whole time someone else is in our house, like the little Covid baby he is. Stranger Danger to the max.

Always aware that someone else is there haha

Fans! So happy to have light in our rooms now from more than just a lamp.

Buuuut still a disaster in some places -- we ordered this really cute dresser for the boys and it came all beat up. We have to keep it for 10 days for the carrier to come inspect it and then we're going to do our best to fix it up. So sad!

We wanted cookies but didn't want to make cookies. And then we saw a recipe for a giant cookie. Problem solved!

New favorite drink when I need something carbonated.

Sometimes Camden just follows Westin around doing what he does and it's so cute.

Quite the crew heading to school!

Kitty on her Pride Rock. She has a good life here.

We popped popcorn at 10am one day this week because, well, we're ready for summer too.

Peach season is the best season!!
This parfait brings me so much joy.

Westin had little Delta Doggy all tucked in my bed one night and it made me laugh when I went to go to sleep.

Bennett has started "reading" Camden books and it's so cute.
Westin reads to Bennett a lot of nights after we put them to bed and I love it.

Found a farm to tour nearby!

All of Noosa Yogurt is made here.

Looks like even Camden is ready for school!

The dairy-go-round, or cow-ausel.
These were such happy, cute cows eager to be milked.

And even meeting some cute babies!
