Catch Up: February

My 2016 unintentionally became "The Year I Never Blogged"
because it intentionally became "The Year I Learned How to Be a Mom,"
and I hate the empty space over in those little drop-down year menus to your right.
So, each month is getting a retroactive rewind post.

February:

After a double dose of big news in January, February was full of checking off bucket list items and making plans. We were ready to figure out all of our Fresno details, but learned that you really can't find a rental home until a few weeks before moving in. It was a little frustrating to not be able to nail down all the details, but we started talking to friends in the city and future coresidents to get an idea of where we'd like to be.

I convinced myself I wasn't going to get sick with my second pregnancy, but halfway through week 6 I was down and out. I was just as nauseous, if not more, than I had been with Westin. That resulted in lots of homebody days and blowing bubbles for Westin from the couch.

We had fun finally climbing the Soldiers and Sailors Monument in the circle downtown. Daddy was nice and carried Westin the whole way up. We were alone when we first got to the top and I loved the views, but then a big crowd came and my claustrophobia came on fast and strong. It was fun seeing the city we'd grown to love so much from up high. Indy is such a wonderful place, and the Midwest has so many great qualities.

Valentine's party at the Thayn's house!

I love this boy, and all the times we unintentionally match.

So much time spent eating in front of that labor intensive wall!

Always, always emptying organized spaces and ignoring messes.

Graduation is coming!

Downtown Library

This night meant so much to me. Four years with these friends four doors down, and heaven put them there. I couldn't have done school without Becca and I couldn't do residency without her either. Becca is one of the dearest friends I will ever have, and I learn from her constantly. I'm so grateful for her and grateful that our similar paths crossed each other.

Costco with friends!

Grocery buddy, always with treasures in each hand.

We took Kitty on a test ride in anticipation of her cross country adventure...

KonMari time!

Lifting weights :)

Best friends.

Always making a mess of that make up.

Annnnnd of everything else, while I'm pregnant and nauseous from the couch, just watching life unravel.
