Catch Up: December

My 2016 unintentionally became "The Year I Never Blogged"
because it intentionally became "The Year I Learned How to Be a Mom,"
and I hate the empty space over in those little drop-down year menus to your right.
So, each month is getting a retroactive rewind post.

December:
December brought Zoo Lights and some fun Christmas traditions throughout the month. We spent our first Christmas alone as a little family, then my parents came out for New Year's.  Michael had a conference in LA early in the month, so we went down and stayed with Shelley a few days while Rachel and Grandma and Grandpa were visiting as well. It was fun to see so much family again this month!

Christmas Morning

New Christmas decorations! Cutest Christmas trees turned by Michael's dad.

Our favorite tree on our walk! Fresno Decembers feel like Utah falls.

Sleeping like a little angel. When being held, that is :)

"Hey Mama, where'd I go?"

"Here I am!" Also, he was always getting Nacho Libre out and carrying around that specific movie.

Christmas cookies!

Getting out of the house felt haaaaard.

Merry Christmas to each other! New patio furniture for many future meals outside.

First big movie! Sing. Bennett slept alllmost the whole time.

Grandma and Grandpa watched Bennett so we could get back on a bike ride!
