Catch Up: September

My 2016 unintentionally became "The Year I Never Blogged"
because it intentionally became "The Year I Learned How to Be a Mom,"
and I hate the empty space over in those little drop-down year menus to your right.
So, each month is getting a retroactive rewind post.

September:
The last full month of being pregnant! October 3rd was the due date and we were feeling it.

We made some final few zoo trips and enjoyed the bird show. Rachel came and visited when she had a long weekend and it was so fun to see her. We also explored Woodward Park a little more and made some weekend trips to Home Depot once Michael had full reign of our garden. He was happy to have lower rent and control of the backyard rather than our landlord's hired gardeners like when we moved in. I turned 28 and all I wanted for my birthday was my sister! She came pretty soon after and took care of us the week leading up to baby time and during our stay at the hospital. She is an angel. We took a temple trip together a few days before my due date and the temple workers were a little nervous! But we were in and out pretty quick and no labors occurred :)

Westin likes looking at the giraffes but he was NOT into feeding them lettuce.

Bird show buddies!

Favorite dessert.

Park exploring.

The temps are still 90+ but it's pumpkin cookies and white chicken chili over here. Ready for fall.

Ready for Ali to come!

Another wall up!

I got all this for $5 through two mystery shops at Professor Toy and Target.

Someone's testing out the baby stuff and still doesn't quite know what's coming!

I was taking this picture and Westin went to grab his jumbo beach ball and held it in front of him for the picture.
He thinks we match now I guess. We do.

Brings that turtle all over.

Cloud shapes with daddy

Sisters

39 weeks plus a few days

Meals require full face washes after.
