Catch Up: January

My 2016 unintentionally became "The Year I Never Blogged"
because it intentionally became "The Year I Learned How to Be a Mom,"
and I hate the empty space over in those little drop-down year menus to your right.
So, each month is getting a retroactive rewind post.

January:

Michael's interviews all happened through November and December, so January was a great calm in the storm. Busy interviews, pausing in January, before busy final months gearing up to move. 

We were anxious for Match Day on the 25th, and spent time distracting ourselves. We made visits to the Feline Rescue Center, the Children's Museum, the Museum of Art, the Rhythm Museum, and more spots around the city. We also spent most of our time picking up messes before Westin made the same messes again, so that was fun. 

On Match Day we found out we were moving to FRESNO, CALIFORNIA and it was crazy to suddenly know what our next step was in life. We found out that same day that I was pregnant with our next little baby. Big changes!

The Feline Rescue Center was COLD and so much fun. Those cats were super interested in Westin.

We love the Toblers! They were so fun to take mini adventures with and we always love talking to them. We found out they were pregnant when we were eating lunch after our Feline Rescue Center day. We didn't know it yet, but our next little baby was on the way too! We love their family and we love being baby buddies with them.
