We've had some COLD temperatures lately!
Bennett asked what would happen if we blew bubbles in the freezing cold and we realized we'd never tried that! He did it one morning and they rolled around like little balls and sat right on the snow. So funny.
Westin loved a field trip to a CSU basketball game this week. He has such fun friends and such a deep love for sports. He's loving fifth grade.
Both Bennett and Camden received a Shining Star award on Wednesday. The value of the month was generosity, and they are for sure both full of that. I was so glad it was on a Wednesday so Michael and I could go to both classrooms at once when their teachers talk about how awesome they are. Our boys are happy to help and sweet guys at school (and at home, but the guard's gotta come down sometimes right!) and we're just grateful for them.
This week is TRIP PREP which is always so much but also the best.
We're ready to go adventure tomorrow!
Frozen bubbles! This was so funny. Bennett asked what would happen if we blew bubbles in super freezing temps and we realized we'd never done that! They rolled around like little balls.
This kid hates school lunches. The motives are strong.
Eek!
The remodel has been done a while, but I finally finished up this little awkward wall and found a rug. Our room feels really peaceful and I'm so happy it's done!
I spot a Shining Star Camden! He got the value award for generosity because he's always looking out for others and happy to help.
And another Shining Star -- Bennett! He received the same value award because he's always more than willing to help anyone. Whatever you need help with, Bennett responds, "Sure!"
Science experiment time! Time to see if that 5-second rule is real.
Can you spot the Broncos beanie boy? Westin got that hat for his birthday from his sweet friend and it rarely leaves his head.
Prepping for some fun!
This chain has slowly gone away since Christmas and we're so excited for an ADVENTURE tomorrow!
