Bringing Back Sleep

Well, on this side of Texas I swore we'd break bad habits with Asher's sleep, and we did it. The first pic is our last night sleeping with the ridiculous side-sleeping nursing-pillow situation that he did for all naps and nights for almost 5 months of his life. He's now in his own space in our nice dark, quiet closet in our pack n play. Camden was a little confused, since he slept in that pack n play in Estes Park just a couple weeks ago... I think our next trip is in June so we'll cross that sleeping bridge when we come to it haha.

Michael:
is still just grateful to be on this side of boards, always happy to get through a week of call, and meets lots of nice people at work on both the doctor and patient sides. He's enjoying young mens, liked staying up with Westin and Bennett to watch March Madness games (tears were shed when Duke lost... who knew Westin was going to be so invested), and cuddles them most nights after we get everyone put to bed.

Maddie:
has some hours back in my day when I'm now putting Asher to sleep awake instead of nursing him into all his naps. It's really freeing and I am grateful to be at this milestone. Newborn babies are lots of time and hard on everyone in the family at time. They are also straight from heaven and bring light to everyone in the family the vast majority of the time :)

The Boys:
are still on a high from playing with Grandma and Grandpa, they think it's so funny Asher sleeps in a closet now, they are loving school (this time of year is fun when classes seem to have found a good groove and weather warms up and spring gives everyone a little more energy). They are so much fun.

Ridiculously crowded bed. He woke up 20 min after this and I rage moved all our luggage from our closet, set up our pack n play, transferred him into there, and so begins sleep training and getting this guy sleeping on his back.

You can't really see this little bunny but he was really cute and Camden loved him very much.

Bunny spotter.

Westy's ready for the First Grade Wax Museum!
Air Force man.

Wax Museum Parade.
The first graders were dressed in such cute costumes of historical figures and symbols.

He had a big fan there!

This is how we play around here.

Easter time is coming!
